The Association of Education Publishers (AEP) has announced the 2011 finalists for its Distinguished Achievement Awards. We’re proud to note that Teaching Tolerance won 16 finalists spots in three of the four award categories.
Teaching Tolerance’s magazine, online lessons, illustrations and blog are all in the running for awards. So is the film Bullied: A Student, a School and a Case That Made History and the teaching guide for HBO’s documentary Sergio.
The AEP Awards have honored outstanding educational resources for more than 40 years. The 2011 winners will be announced during the annual AEP Awards Banquet and Gala in Washington, D.C., on June 8.
