The Spring issue of Teaching Tolerance arrives in schools this week. Here’s a sneak peak:

This issue contains a special section on using social media to teach social justice. These articles explore how educators can turn this powerful technology into a classroom tool that engages students and challenge stereotypes.
Immigration has been much in the news lately, and Teaching Tolerance includes a series of articles designed to help educators teach about this sensitive issue. There are also articles on bringing diversity to STEM classes, fighting anti-Muslim bias and turning the tables on bullies.
Teaching Tolerance is distributed free of charge by the Southern Poverty Law Center to more than 400,000 educators nationwide. You can read the issue online [2] or order a print copy using this form [3] (PDF).
Price is managing editor of Teaching Tolerance.
