These activities are designed to be
completed in 20 to 60 minutes.

2.1 Considering Body Size, Shape, and Movement
Take a field trip; document access barriers and ways to increase usability of visited facilities.

2.2 Responding to Bullying
Explore a scenario about bullying; discuss ways to intervene safely in such situations.

2.3 Considering the Oppressor
Develop an awareness of how oppression can harm oppressors.

2.4 Putting the People Back into Language
Revise passive constructions that obscure meaning, perpetuate oppression or deflect responsibility.

2.5 Identifying Euphemisms
Expose how euphemisms can obscure and absolve oppressors of responsibility for their actions.

2.6 Shedding Light on Color
Define the phrase "people of color;" determine which factors allow someone's inclusion under the heading.

2.7 Writing About Racial Identity
Use autobiography to analyze the influences of racial identity in people’s self-perceptions and live.
