Teaching Tolerance has released two important resources for creating a healthy, inclusive school environment. You can download them here:

Responding to Hate and Bias at School

Speak Up at School

These resources provide ideas for both day-to-day and long-term responses to everything from bullying to widespread violence.

We suggest that Responding to Hate and Bias at School be used by administrators and counselors for professional development. Speak Up at School is written for individuals and can help teachers give students the tools that turn them from bystanders into “upstanders.”

Learning for Justice in the South

When it comes to investing in racial justice in education, we believe that the South is the best place to start. If you’re an educator, parent or caregiver, or community member living and working in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana or Mississippi, we’ll mail you a free introductory package of our resources when you join our community and subscribe to our magazine.
