Learning for Justice Community Guidelines

Moderation Goals

Learning for Justice offers opportunities for educators to comment on the content published by our staff and by other educators in the form of Learning Plans. Our goal in allowing comments is to foster thought-provoking dialogue and relevant discussions about a variety of social justice issues while maintaining a safe and inclusive online community.

 

Community Standards

  • We invite opposing viewpoints and debate. However, personal attacks on authors or users will not be published.
  • We reserve the right to redirect or restrict conversations that devolve into threatening or hateful exchanges.
  • Hate speech based on—but not limited to—race, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age is not permitted.
  • Defamatory or libelous comments with potential legal liability consequences for Learning for Justice will be removed.
  • Any posts that are commercial in nature will be removed.
  • Commenters who consistently disregard our community guidelines will have their commenting and publishing privileges revoked.

Please help us keep our online space a welcoming environment by notifying us of comments you believe violate these guidelines by using the "Report as Inappropriate" button in the comments section.

When it comes to investing in racial justice in education, we believe that the South is the best place to start.
