FREEDOM TO LEARN NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION—MAY 3, 2023

Restricting the education of people—particularly Black, Indigenous and other people of color—has been recurring throughout United States history, while the silencing of historically marginalized communities has been similarly entrenched in our systems. Yet we certainly have the power to course correct.
