Niagara Movement Declaration of Principles, 1905

This document defines the beliefs, demands and duties of the Niagara Movement. The Niagara Movement, organized by W.E.B DuBois and William Monroe Trotter, was one of the first civil rights organizations. This document addresses several areas of African American life including religion, politics, economics and education.
